Increase Screen brightness

Hi

My daytime brightness is on 100%, but the screen cannot be seen in sunlight. Is there any way to make the screen even brighter?

Also, are there any firmware updates for Vanku devices - mine is the 7" PX6 4GB/32GB double din unit.
